Chief. Ms. Agneta Karembo Charo
Ms. Agneta Karembo Charo currently holds the position of Chief Officer of Gender, Culture, and Social Services in Kilifi County. With a background in community development and gender advocacy, she has showcased her proficiency in community engagement, coordination, and project management over the course of her career. Ms. Karembo holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies (Community Development) from Pwani University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Development Studies at the same institution, further enhancing her grasp of social issues and development strategies.
As a Gender Officer in Kilifi County, Ms. Karembo actively contributed to policy development as a member of the Kilifi County Gender and Development Policy writing Team and GBV Prevention and Response Policy writing Team. She played a crucial role in gender mainstreaming, stakeholder coordination, and program implementation. Ms. Karembo participated in the planning and execution of both county and national events and mobilized resources. She remains actively engaged in monitoring program progress, addressing challenges, and providing timely solutions to ensure the achievement of objectives.
