I met with a team from Kenyatta University Women’s Economic Empowerment Hub (KU-WEE), led by Prof. Judith Ndombi Waudo, the Director of CGEE and KU-WEE Hub Leader, during their courtesy visit to my office.
KU-WEE works to help women become economically empowered through research and evidence-based policies. They believe in gender equality, teamwork, and accountability, and aim to create a society where women are economically empowered and gender inequalities are eliminated.
The Kilifi County Government is dedicated to creating a fair and prosperous society for everyone. We plan to work with the team to develop policies that protect children, empower youth, and promote tourism.
