Kilifi County Government is happy to have joined the Kilifi Collective Community of CSOs, allies, and individuals, uniting across the county and country to advocate for #EndFemicideKE. Standing in solidarity against femicide, we actively participated in the #TotalShutdownKE, amplifying the communities voices against this grave issue.
Our commitment extends to partnering with stakeholders to provide crucial support, including psychosocial and mental health services for victims of violence and their families, along with pro bono legal aid.
Emphasizing the importance of respecting all rights, particularly women’s rights, we are resolute in our efforts to raise awareness within our communities. The urgency of taking action is paramount, and we are dedicated to integrating our services and implementing effective measures to protect the rights of women and girls.
We also acknowledge the presence of H.E the Deputy Governor,Hon Flora Mbetsa Chibule, CEC Dr. Ruth D. Masha , Women Rep. Hon Mbeyu , Chief Officer Ms Agnetta Karembo as well as other county officials who made it to the march.
