Members of the Department of Gender participated in a workshop designed to strengthen the enforcement of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) policies within the County. The primary focus of the meeting was on exploring the potential contributions of Women Challenged to Challenge (WCC), an organization devoted to assisting women and girls with disabilities, to this important initiative.
In our capacity as the Kilifi County Government, we are dedicated to creating an inclusive and secure environment for all inhabitants. Through strategic partnerships with entities such as Women Challenged to Challenge (WCC), our objective is to ensure the effective implementation of our SGBV policies, with a specific emphasis on meeting the distinct requirements of women and girls with disabilities. This collaboration represents a significant advancement towards establishing a more fair and supportive community for all individuals in Kilifi County.
